Meet Zemi


the new male red panda at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, who is currently settling in behind the scenes as he adjusts to his new home. This exciting arrival marks an important step in the park’s ongoing conservation work for this rare and endangered species.

Native to the Himalayan region, red pandas are loved for their striking red fur and gentle nature, and Zemi is sure to become a firm visitor favourite once he makes his public debut. Meet the newborn Cheetah cubs!

We’re thrilled to share some pawsome news from Yorkshire Wildlife Park – four beautiful cheetah cubs have been born to proud mum Darcy and dad Brooke! The playful quartet are thriving under Darcy’s watchful eye, already showing off their curious personalities.

This exciting arrival is a wonderful boost for the conservation of these incredible big cats, and we can’t wait for you to follow their journey as they grow in confidence and character here at the Park.

Sea Lions at Point Lobos

Sweetest Sea Lions


Vistors at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park can enjoy watching these agile animals in their unique habitat. Sea lions are known for their playful personalities and strong swimming skills, reaching speeds of up to 25 mph in the water. Fun fact: they can hold their breath for around 10 minutes and use their sensitive whiskers to detect movement and find food.
